We know that starting with a new dental practice can feel a little overwhelming! But from the moment you arrive, our supportive dental team will welcome you warmly, and in no time at all, you’ll feel right at home with us.
We look forward to welcoming you to Centre Family Dentistry in person and answering any questions you have. Call us at (970) 407-1001 to schedule or feel free to request an appointment online.
We can’t wait to get to know you, but there’s some vital information we need to gather before we can provide treatment that meets your needs. Visit our forms page to download and complete our Health Questionnaire that includes your dental and medical health history, as well as any medications you’re currently taking.
Please also bring your photo ID and any insurance cards you plan to use.
Our amazing dental team loves meeting new patients and will greet you by name and welcome you warmly to our practice. During your brief wait, relax and enjoy our comfortable reception area!
If you were unable to complete the necessary forms beforehand, please plan to arrive 15 minutes ahead of your appointment.
We will show you back to your treatment room promptly and get you settled comfortably. Dr. Humbert will introduce himself and spend some time chatting with you about any concerns you have and how we can help you.
He will then perform a thorough examination and take necessary x-rays to evaluate the condition of your gums and each of your teeth. He will note any areas of concern and use digital x-ray images and intraoral cameras to show you what he sees.
After your examination, Dr. Humbert will explain the dental problems we need to address and the treatments we’ll use to get your oral health back on track. Our dental care team will review insurance and financing options based on the treatment we recommend and schedule future appointments for you as needed.
Your first visit typically includes a comprehensive dental cleaning performed by Dr. Humbert or one of our gentle hygienists. We look for signs of gum disease, remove plaque and tartar from your teeth, and give you tips on improving your oral hygiene at home.
If you have questions about brushing and flossing or any other oral health issues, this is the perfect time to ask! Patient education is an essential part of what we do, and our dental team is always more than happy to help!
Great experience with the whole staff on our first visit with my two boys after previously having a bad experience with another office. Dr. Humbert was friendly, informative and put the children at ease. I really liked his relaxed and easy going attitude. The dental assistant was also so kind. The front desk staff were also really great. Glad we found them!!
